Lancaster House reception to celebrate the introduction of the Civil Partnership Act

Held in the sumptuous surroundings of The Music Room in Lancaster House, part of the Palace of St James, 150 guests including government ministers and lobbyists attended this celebration and enjoyed a joyful wedding atmosphere enhanced by the gorgeous pink and blue confetti-filled Perspex canapé displays, the mini "Mr and Mr" and "Mrs and Mrs" wedding cakes and a classic "Croquembouche" centrepiece. On this landmark winter evening, guests devoured delicious canapés including beetroot rosti with smoked trout and horseradish rillette, char-grilled monkfish and scallop skewers with garlic and lime, musaman vegetable curry on a nan bread crisp and polenta tartlets with mixed mushroom ragout.
