Simon Goggin - Chef Director

Simon's earliest chef experience was gained in some of London's finest restaurants including Belvedere, Holland Park, and Michelin-starred Leith's Restaurant, Notting Hill. He was soon promoted to report directly to Prue Leith as head chef at Leith's Events and Parties, which was emerging as the market leader in innovative party catering in the capital. After four successful years, Simon took over the role of executive chef in all of Leith's contracts throughout London.

Having gained all round chef and management experience, Simon followed his dream of starting his own company. Cooks & Partners was started ten years ago with a contract to provide the afternoon teas on the Venice Simplon Orient Express, and has grown steadily by word of mouth recommendation. Today, Simon can still be found cooking in the kitchens, but also manages many events, ensuring Cooks & Partners always delivers the highest standards of catering, customer care and innovation under his personal supervision.

Angela Slater - Head Chef

Angela gained her experience as senior chef for Reuters, HSBC and Venice Simplon Orient Express before joining Simon as sous chef at Leith's Events & Parties. Angela joined Cooks & Partners from the start, and is equally at ease training her brigade or researching new recipes and trends.

Angela's culinary creations lend a note of originality to receptions, cocktail parties and dinners throughout London and the South East. Inventive, colourful and full of delicious flavours, her menus are designed uniquely for each event.

Florence Midwood - Business Development Manager

Florence brings extensive experience from royal party planner Lady Elizabeth Anson before joining us 1 year ago. She has a great event knowledge and creativity in all different types of events and now heads up all events as well as bringing in new business for the company.

Jenny Nash - Sales & Marketing Manager

Jenny has had over 12 years’ experience of selling venues and events in London for a small number of high quality caterers and creative event agencies. In that time, she has become expert in finding interesting and unusual venues and in finding new suppliers to ensure we always have new ideas for your event. You may draw on her depth of experience when planning your own event. Jenny also deals with marketing for the company.

Natalie Boast – Events Manager

Natalie has recently joined Cooks & Partners after completing her degree qualification in Events Management. To support her knowledge, she has gained professional events industry experience by managing corporate parties for a top London event agency. Natalie is now working closely with Florence to create sensational bespoke events for our clients and she is building strong relationships with our venues and suppliers.

Stefanie Scowen - Contracts Manager

Stefanie is in charge of day-to-day liaison with our contract clients, including Resource For London Conference Centre, Harvey & May, The Resource Café and Holland Park Cafe. Stefanie is your first point of contact if you are interested in Cooks & Partners becoming your contracted caterer, In-house caterer or to run a cafe by Cooks & Partners within your organisation. Our contract relationships include concession-based and management fee arrangements.

Almir Da Silva – Sous Chef

Almir joined Cooks & Partners 8 years ago and has worked tirelessly to develop his knowledge and skills helping him reach the top. His creativity and love for design never ceases to amaze on events. From a smouldering lamb cooked two ways to a delicate lobster canapé, his Brazilian passion and flair brings inspiration to the whole team.
