So what happens next? We hope that the below gives you an idea of whats to come

Now you've booked the venue it's time to choose your caterer and other suppliers. Caterers manage the running of the day so its important to be working with people you trust.

Confirmation of venue | You've already ticked this off

You've made that first step already, hurrah!

Choosing a caterer | You are here!

Our advise; have a chat with both caterer, understand where we are different and get to know the person who you’ll be working with through your planning and on the day its self.

We suggest either a phone conversation or meeting in person.

Booking a tasting | Usually 3 months in advance

Our tasting room is based at our warehouse and kitchens in Chelsea (nearest stations: Imperial Wharf or Fulham Broadway).

We are happy to do this in the evenings or daytime.

Tasting | Usually 2 months in advance

The tasting process is not only a chance to taste and choose your food but also a chance to chat about how it's styled or displayed. We will show you a selection of canape trays for example, but we can always pop down into our warehouse to show you some more options.

We invite your event coordinator from Eltham Palace along to this too if it suits their diary.

Confirmation of styling | Usually 3 weeks before

This might include linen choices, chair choices and canape/bar styling

Finalising details | A week before

We will confirm final numbers and dietary requirements with you.

Our team will internally discuss your wedding menu, place orders and prepare elements.

We will confirm a running order at this point; to include your speeches etc.

We share all of this information with your event coordinator at Eltham Palace.

The big day

You will be meet by your event manager (who you will know so well by this stage). He/she will take care of all the elements of catering and brief their teams about any extra important bits to you.  They will be there from start to finish.

The drinks reception is often the busiest moment for our couples; photographers and guests often demand their attention. We always create a small tray of canapes so you don’t miss out. Its usually an idea to factor 10 minutes in alone to enjoy these and a moment together; we will just play this by ear on the day.
