Join us as we take a look at some of our favourite events from this December

As we bid 2018 farewell and gear up for the exciting events 2019 has to offer, we look back on some of our favourite December parties, from ceremonies and weddings to conferences and Christmas celebrations.

The Orangery in Holland Park view from rose garden

The very first day of the month had our wedding team busy at the ever-lovely Orangery in Holland Park. Despite the cooling weather, the large glittering chandeliers and fragrant blooms created a welcoming atmosphere for 80 close friends and family.

The bride arrived in true style, stepping out of a pristine white London taxi, her wedding party not far behind. Walking in to the tune of a romantic string duo, the bride was positively glowing by the time she reached the end of the aisle.

Post-ceremony, guests gratefully accepted warming mason jars of mulled cider while waiters circulated with a delicious variety of winter canapes. The children munched on their healthy picnic boxes – due to the amount of cake that was scheduled to be eaten later on! – and snapped pictures on Canon Polaroids given to them by the newly-weds, we can only imagine the brilliant prints that will be giggled over for the years to come!

The following week our operations team spent an evening at The View From The Shard, next to the jaw-dropping 360° view of our stunning city, the host’s guests were served a choice of canapes ranging from tiger prawns with a pistachio, grapefruit and cracked wheat citrus infused salad to oak smoked ham, truckle cheddar, red onion and maple glazed lollipops alongside bubbly beverages while the sun set on the hazy horizon.

We are delighted to be working alongside The View From The Shard on their new semi - private hire packages, stay tuned for more information.

Though as the busy festive season has come to an end, we start to look forward to the New Year and the corporate events it brings! Product launches, conference lunches and food delivery services are our speciality and now that we’ve been listed at a brand new venue, Proud Central, we’d love to recommend what works best in the space.

Situated smack bang in the middle of London just around the corner from Charring Cross Station and underground, this prime location already lends well to the venue's pros.

With its modest yet modern exterior, the exhibition gallery boasts two spacious open-plan floors allowing for drinks receptions for up 140 guests across the entire building. Seated lunches or dinners can accommodate 30 guests on the upper floor. The stark white theme throughout the venue provides the perfect backdrop and blank canvas for any event, allowing the host to make it their own from start to finish.

Proud Central is best suited to product launches and post conference receptions though with a venue like this, the sky is the limit.

Now that the events team is fully recharged and taking the many wedding enquiries in their stride, we can't wait to see what 2019 will throw at us!
