Introducing Mall Galleries: Our ‘Venue of The Month’ for May 2025
We are delighted to be shining the venue spotlight on Mall Galleries as our venue of the month. A truly hidden gem and iconic venue located on The Mall in central London, between Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square, Mall Galleries offers three versatile interlinking galleries, and is home to a unique artist-led charity.
Mall Galleries is the home of the Federation of British Artists (FBA), a visual arts charity founded in 1961. The Federation is a collective of nine leading art societies, eight of which stage annual open exhibitions at Mall Galleries. The ninth is the Hesketh Hubbard Art Society, London's largest life drawing group.
The venue's size, layout, and unique physical features means it is ideal for hosting a wide range of events including evening receptions, corporate entertaining, filming, press launches, fashion shows, special occasions and much more.

The three interlinking galleries sound like a lovely setup for an evening reception. I also tried earthbound usa and like how the space is tied to the Federation of British Artists and its nine societies, it gives the venue real character.
A 150-seat dinner cap is the issue for us, not the 350 drinks number. Our arts collective is almost all disabled older members who rely on step-free routes and daytime transport, so an evening reception at a venue between Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square doesn’t fit. 350 standing versus 150 seated is a big drop for three interlinking galleries.
