Add a bit of warmth to your winter conference
Like a flick of the switch, summer has vanished and the nights are drawing in. We still have some autumn sun, but let’s not let the chill get us down. We are here to perk up your delegates with these yummy winter warmers, perfect for your daytime conference or meeting.
Here’s our top four tricks to bring in the new season…
Breakfast with extra flair | Porridge with all the trimmings
The all-important first meal with slow release energy setting you up for a busy day ahead.
Bring that trendy health food store feel to your events! We have created ‘top your own stations’ to gets guests making their own choices; devouring their selection of toasted seeds and nuts, to fresh fruit and plant-based yoghurts or London honey, agave nectar or maple syrup.
Many ingredients include those all-important ‘cold busting’ anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds plus antibacterial properties in honey to ward off those sniffles. Our top favourite is to add a smidge of cinnamon, not just for flavour; this is a super-spice which regulates blood sugar and reduces fatigue! Much needed in the events business!
Daytime simple lunches | Home-made soup stations
Perfect for those chillier days, when you want to keep things simple yet ever so stylish
Make soups even more special and cool with our ‘top your own soup’ set ups. Offer guests the chance to choose from grating their own taleggio, crumbling their own candied bacon or even spooning their own savoury pumpkin granola.
You could even add gruyere and spring onion toasties, toasted sour dough croutons or foot long cheddar cheese straws.
Super fun refreshment breaks | Hot chocolate station
Wanting to cater to the sweet toothed amongst us, then hot chocolate may be just the ticket
Trigger your delegates childhood memories and their sense of a little fun with gourmet marshmallows, blow torched fluff or even boozy whipped foam guns. It’s a known fact that if delegates are energised then they will engage more in your event content. Our jewelled hot chocolates will get them acting like kids full of Ribena!
Cosy networking to prolong guest engagement | A warming tipple
The all-important networking at the end of the day is key to getting people forging new ideas and developing profitable relationships
Round off the day with a warming drinks reception. How about offering steaming glasses of mulled wine or spiced apple cider; evocative of cosy autumn nights. Spiced apple juice works perfectly as a non-alcoholic version too, using unfiltered, unsweetened pressed apple juice with a smidgen of nutmeg, star anise and a vanilla pod…yes please!
